As mothers and birth workers, we understand how birth goes and that sometimes the unexpected happens. And sometimes, trauma can happen. We don’t pretend to be experts on trauma, but we’ve experienced our share of it. With any experience, you might have a feeling of wanting to have a “do over.” I would like to rephrase it, in terms of birth, as a “redeeming birth.”

If for any reason you would like to experience a “redeeming birth,” an experience that can help heal or counteract feelings of trauma, disappointment, or loss from a previous birth experience, we’re the team for you. For some women, a past birth may have been physically or emotionally difficult—perhaps due to an emergency C-section, complications, a sense of loss of control, or unfulfilled expectations. A redeeming birth can allow you to reclaim your sense of empowerment and healing, providing closure or emotional balance after the challenges of a previous birth.
